Getting started with Arduino UNO

About Arduino Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the micro-controller on the board. In this blog, I will give you a brief description of the Arduino Uno board. Components of an Arduino Uno Analog Reference pin (orange) Digital Ground (light green) Digital Pins 2-13 (green) Digital Pins 0-1/Serial In/Out - TX/RX (dark green) - These pins cannot be used for digital i/o (digitalRead and digitalWrite) if you are also using serial communication (e.g. Serial.begin).
